Dr. Cherish Leung is a Board Certified pediatric dentist. She grew up around her many younger siblings and cousins, and throughout her life has been surrounded by children! She loves working with kids and patients with special needs. She is extremely fortunate that her passion for working with kids and her love of dentistry can be combined and allow her to help patients in a unique way daily.

Dr. Cherish graduated undergrad from UCLA, and went on to earn two Masters degrees—one in Healthcare Administration and one in Public Health with an emphasis on dentistry. She then attended dental school at Western University of Health Sciences, graduating with honors, and being elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. She then moved to New York for general practice residency, where she worked with mostly patients with special needs. She decided New York provided fantastic training in pediatric dentistry and was fortunate to be able to stay for two more years, training at Northwell Health Hofstra School of Medicine Staten Island University Hospital. She worked for a year in Long Island, NY in private practice seeing pediatric patients before moving back to California.

Dr. Cherish loves her husband Steven, her little one, Valor and their multitude of cats. She loves Broadway musicals, crafting, good food, and spending time outdoors. Dr C. is a huge fan of the LA Dodgers and LA Kings and likes going to games with her family. She also loves deep sea and river fishing, but refuses to eat any seafood.

Dr. Paulina Nguyen

Dr. Paulina Nguyen grew up in Monterey Bay, CA and completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA and dental school at USC. She always has had a passion for working with children and has traveled abroad including Thailand, Vietnam, and Mexico for dental mission trips. Following dental school, she worked in a pediatric dental office and decided to continue her training by completing a pediatric dental residency through NYU Langone in Hawaii. Her post-doctoral training in Hawaii enabled her to serve children across four different Hawaiian islands while advancing her training in general anesthesia, oral sedation, orthodontics, and special needs patients. She returns to southern California where she aims to provide not only provide quality dental care for infants, children and adolescents, but also create long lasting positive dental experiences from a young age.

In her free time, Dr. Paulina loves to spend time with her family and husband. She loves trying new restaurants, drinking coffee, and running by the beach. During basketball season, you can find her glued to the TV or in the Staples Center cheering for the LA Lakers! Dr. Paulina is also fluent in three languages: English, Vietnamese, and Spanish. She hopes to become fluent in more languages and learn more about other cultures as she explores and travels around the world in the future. Although Dr. Paulina is a dentist, she is a child at heart and looks forward to learning the latest Tik Tok trends and dance moves from her pediatric patients!
